ExFog Drop-In - No Modifications

THE ONLY PERFORMANCE UPGRADE FOR EXFOG

More air. Same unit. No other upgrade exists.

The stock ExFog manifold outlets have a 4mm bore - 12.6mm² of flow area per outlet. The N-Bore Manifold Set replaces them with 6mm outlets, opening that to 28.3mm² per outlet. More than double the flow area. Same fan, same power, more airflow.

The N-Bore outlets are sized to accept Novritsch-spec tubing - but the outlet bore itself is larger than the Novritsch manifold. Novritsch delivers 15.9mm² of flow area per outlet. N-Bore delivers 28.3mm². That gap is why N-Bore outperformed both stock ExFog and stock Novritsch in bench testing. It is not just the best upgrade for ExFog - it is the highest-airflow manifold available for any tube-based antifog system on the market.

WHY IT WORKS

50% more airflow. Drop-in swap. Fully Reversible.

01
Larger bore outlet
A wider output channel delivers more air volume per second. Same fan, same power draw - more airflow where it counts. The N stands for Novritsch: outlet dimensions are spec-matched to the Novritsch antifog unit, then engineered beyond it on total flow area.
02
N-Bore tubing required
Converts your ExFog to run N-Bore tubing - the same spec used by the Novritsch antifog unit. Your existing ExFog tubing will not fit the new outlets and needs to be replaced. N-Bore Upgrade Tubing is available separately or as a kit.
03
Drop-in swap
Slides and clips into the ExFog mounting channel exactly like the stock manifolds. No tools. No modification to your unit. Swap takes under 60 seconds and is fully reversible - put the stock manifolds back in anytime.

Before you order

You will need new tubing.

The N-Bore outlets accept N-Bore tubing or compatible Novritsch-spec tubing. Your existing ExFog tubing will not fit the larger outlets and needs to be replaced when you install this set. Two options: the N-Bore ExFog Upgrade Kit includes 3ft of purpose-built kink-resistant N-Bore tubing designed for this system. Or, the BFly Routing Kit - Novritsch variant includes 36in of compatible silicone tubing plus a full set of connectors and clips - solving tubing and routing in one kit, though the tubing is softer and more prone to kinking than N-Bore tubing.

Also running the BFly Routing Kit?
Your ExFog variant Routing Kit is not compatible with these manifolds.
The connectors and clips in the ExFog Routing Kit are sized for ExFog tubing outer diameter. The larger tubing required by the N-Bore manifolds needs the Novritsch variant - both connectors and clips are a different bore size and will not work interchangeably.

Bench tested - 20 trials across two sessions, all filmed

The numbers.

We measured airflow by timing how long the ExFog took to inflate a sealed nitrile glove - stock ExFog manifolds vs stock Novritsch manifolds vs N-Bore, same unit, same tubing lengths, 5 trials per configuration per session. All trials were filmed. The N-Bore set delivered 50% faster average inflation time over stock ExFog. Up to 55% faster with consistent trials.

Outlier trial (excluded from averages)

* 4 outlier trials identified and excluded from published averages across 20 total trials: ExFog S1 T3 (9.15s) and T5 (9.59s) - anomalously low vs session cluster, likely glove seal variation; N-Bore S1 T1 (8.35s) - anomalously high vs cluster, likely manifold not fully seated on first install; N-Bore S2 T2 (5.78s) - anomalously high vs cluster, likely setup variation. All 20 trials filmed. All-trial average improvement: 45.8%. Clean combined average: ExFog 9.81s vs N-Bore 4.81s, improvement 50.9%. Conservative published claim: 50%.

What's in the box

Two manifolds. One for each routing direction.

Each set includes both manifold configurations - matching the layout of the stock ExFog manifolds so you can maintain your existing routing setup. Swap both at once.

Vertical-output
Outlets routed upward. Use when routing tubes over the top of the head or helmet.
Lateral-output
Outlets routed to each side. Use when routing tubes along the sides toward eyewear.
  • Compatible unit: ExFog only
  • Required tubing: N-Bore tubing or compatible Novritsch-spec tubing
  • Mount: slide-and-clip, no tools, fully reversible
  • Material: Engineering-grade polymer, Made in USA

Installed

Slide. Click. Connect.

The N-Bore manifolds slide into the same mounting channel as the stock ExFog manifolds. Push fully into the channel until the retention clip clicks into the nub - you'll feel it seat. Then press your N-Bore tubing onto the barbed outlets. Under 60 seconds start to finish.

FAQ

Common questions.

Will this work with my ExFog unit?

Yes. The N-Bore manifolds use the same slide-and-clip mounting channel as the stock ExFog manifolds. They are designed exclusively for the ExFog and are not compatible with other antifog units.

Do I need to modify my ExFog unit?

No. The swap is fully reversible. Remove the stock manifolds, slide in the N-Bore set, clip them in. No tools, no adhesives, no permanent changes to your unit.

What tubing do I need?

N-Bore tubing or compatible Novritsch-spec tubing. Your existing ExFog tubing will not fit the larger outlets and needs to be replaced when you install this set. BFly N-Bore Upgrade Tubing is available separately or as part of the N-Bore ExFog Upgrade Kit.

Can I use my existing BFly Routing Kit with the larger tubing?

Only if you own the Novritsch variant. The ExFog variant Routing Kit - both connectors and clips - is sized for ExFog tubing outer diameter. The larger tubing required by the N-Bore manifolds needs the Novritsch variant. Nothing from the ExFog variant transfers.

How do you know the 50% airflow claim is accurate?

We ran a controlled bench test across two sessions - same ExFog unit, same tubing length, timing sealed glove inflation with stock manifolds vs N-Bore, 5 trials per configuration per session, 20 total trials. Combined clean average improvement was 50.9%. We publish 50% as the conservative claim. All trials were filmed. Full trial data and methodology is shown in the chart above.

Why does the N in N-Bore stand for Novritsch?

The N-Bore outlet dimensions are spec-matched to the Novritsch antifog unit outlets. The ExFog and Novritsch units run the same internal fan. The N-Bore manifolds bring ExFog outlet geometry to and beyond Novritsch spec, at a fraction of the cost of a second antifog unit.

Do I need a Clearflow adapter to use these?

No. Clearflow adapters are for tactical glasses users and are not required for the N-Bore manifold upgrade.

If you run tactical glasses, the Clearflow adapter connects your N-Bore tubing to your frames - it works with both ExFog and Novritsch-spec tubing diameter.

If you run goggles, routing N-Bore tubing into your goggle gasket depends on your goggle model. The larger tubing diameter is not compatible with stock ExFog magnetic connectors. The Novritsch goggle connector is compatible with N-Bore tubing diameter and provides a clean gasket interface if your goggles support it. A purpose-built BFly goggle connector for N-Bore tubing is in development.
