BFly N-Bore ExFog Upgrade Kit

$31.95

The only performance upgrade available for the ExFog antifog unit. The N-Bore Manifold Set replaces the stock ExFog manifolds with 6mm outlets - more than double the flow area of stock. N-Bore Upgrade Tubing completes the system with kink-resistant tubing purpose-built for the larger outlets. Same fan. Same unit. 50% more airflow - bench tested across 20 filmed trials. Compatible with ExFog antifog unit only. Stock ExFog tubing not compatible - N-Bore tubing included.

50% More Airflow - Bench Tested Patent Pending Made in USA ExFog Compatible Only

The Problem

Your ExFog Is Bottlenecked From The Factory

The ExFog and the Novritsch antifog unit run the same internal fan. The only meaningful difference between them is outlet bore diameter. Stock ExFog manifolds have a 4mm outlet bore - just 12.6mm² of flow area. The N-Bore Manifold Set opens that to 6mm, giving you 28.3mm² of flow area per outlet. More than double. Same fan. More air.

STOCK MANIFOLD IS THE CHOKEPOINT

Airflow is limited by the smallest restriction in the system. It doesn't matter what you do downstream - if the outlet is narrow, you're leaving performance on the table every time you run the unit.

THE UPGRADE REQUIRES NEW TUBING

Stock ExFog tubing cannot connect to N-Bore manifolds - the outlet bore is too large for it to fit. This is by design. N-Bore Upgrade Tubing is purpose-built to take full advantage of the larger outlet: firm, kink-resistant, and matched to the N-Bore bore diameter. The full system upgrade is manifolds plus tubing together.

N-BORE OUTPERFORMS EVERY UNIT ON THE MARKET

Bench tested against both stock ExFog and the Novritsch antifog unit, the N-Bore upgrade kit delivered higher airflow rates than either. Same fan you already own. No other antifog system - at any price - matched the N-Bore output in testing.

What You Get

A Complete System Upgrade. Two Parts. One Fix.

The N-Bore ExFog Upgrade Kit pairs the N-Bore Manifold Set with 3 feet of N-Bore Upgrade Tubing - the manifold upgrade and the tubing it requires, together in one kit.

N-Bore Manifold Set - stock vs N-Bore comparison
Part 1

N-Bore Manifold Set

Drop-in replacement for your stock ExFog manifolds. Increases outlet bore from 4mm to 6mm - a 125% increase in flow area per outlet. Tool-free swap in under 10 seconds. Fully reversible. Comes as a matched pair: one lateral-output and one vertical-output manifold to cover both common routing configurations.

  • Outlet bore: 6mm vs 4mm stock
  • Flow area increase: 125% per outlet
  • Swap time: under 10 seconds
  • No tools, no modification to ExFog unit
  • Includes: lateral + vertical manifold
N-Bore Upgrade Tubing
Part 2

N-Bore Upgrade Tubing

3 feet of N-Bore tubing - purpose-built for the N-Bore manifold outlets. Highly kink-resistant. Holds hard angles during setup and connection without collapsing. Black, not translucent. Firm, not silicone - stays clean, routes clean, and doesn't fight you when you're setting up in the field.

  • 3ft included - enough for most full helmet runs
  • Kink-resistant at hard angles
  • Black, tactical finish
  • Up to 10% more airflow vs stock Novritsch tubing - bench tested
  • Required for N-Bore manifolds - stock ExFog tubing will not fit
Stock ExFog tubing is not compatible with N-Bore manifolds. The upgrade kit includes everything needed to complete the swap.

Bench Test

50% More Airflow. Measured.

Same ExFog unit. Same fan. Same power. Only the manifold and tubing changed. We timed how long it took to inflate a sealed nitrile glove - 20 trials across two sessions, all filmed.

50% More airflow - bench tested
9.81s Stock ExFog avg inflation
4.81s N-Bore avg inflation

All 20 trials shown. Outliers (amber) excluded from published averages - documented and explained below. N-Bore upgrade kit also bench tested at up to 10% better airflow than stock Novritsch tubing alone.

Stock ExFog test - 9.97 seconds
Stock ExFog - 9.97s
N-Bore upgrade kit test - 4.78 seconds
N-Bore Kit - 4.78s
Test methodology + outlier notes

Methodology: ExFog unit inflating a sealed nitrile glove. Timed from power-on to full inflation. 5 trials per configuration per session, 2 sessions, 20 total trials filmed. Stock ExFog runs used original manifolds and stock tubing. N-Bore runs used N-Bore manifolds and N-Bore Upgrade Tubing. The test measures the combined effect of both upgrades together - both are part of the N-Bore upgrade path.

4 outliers identified and excluded from published averages:

  • ExFog S1 T3 (9.15s) and T5 (9.59s) - anomalously low vs cluster of 10.66-10.84s. Likely glove seal inconsistency.
  • N-Bore S1 T1 (8.35s) - anomalously high vs cluster of 4.50-5.18s. Likely manifold not fully seated on first install.
  • N-Bore S2 T2 (5.78s) - anomalously high vs cluster of 4.43-4.78s. Likely setup variation.

All-trial average (including outliers): 45.8% improvement. Clean average (outliers excluded): 50.9% improvement. Published claim: 50% more airflow. Secondary claim shown only in this section: up to 55% more airflow.

Installation

Swap Takes Under 60 Seconds

01

Remove Stock Manifolds

Slide the stock ExFog manifolds out of the mounting channel. No tools needed - they slide out laterally. Set them aside. The swap is fully reversible.

02

Install N-Bore Manifolds

Slide the N-Bore manifolds into the same mounting channel. Retention protrusions click into the existing retention features. Choose lateral or vertical orientation based on your routing preference.

03

Connect N-Bore Tubing

Press N-Bore Upgrade Tubing onto the barbed outlets. The tubing stretches over the barb and self-retains under normal operating loads. Do not use stock ExFog tubing - it will not fit the larger outlets.

04

Route and Run

Route tubes to your eyewear as normal. N-Bore tubing holds hard angles without kinking, so you have more flexibility in your routing path. Power on and feel the difference.

FAQ

Common Questions

Does this work with my ExFog unit?

Yes - the N-Bore Manifold Set is compatible with all ExFog antifog units. The mounting geometry is identical to the stock manifolds and requires no modification to the unit.

Is this compatible with the Novritsch antifog unit?

No. The N-Bore Manifold Set is designed specifically for the ExFog unit mounting channel and is not compatible with the Novritsch antifog unit or any other antifog system. However, if you run a Novritsch unit, N-Bore Upgrade Tubing is a direct drop-in replacement for your stock Novritsch silicone tubing. Firm, kink-resistant, and bench tested at up to 10% more airflow over stock Novritsch tubing. Available separately.

Can I use my existing ExFog tubing with the N-Bore manifolds?

No. Stock ExFog tubing has a 6mm outer diameter and will not stretch over the N-Bore barb outlets. The N-Bore Upgrade Tubing included in this kit is required. That is why the upgrade kit exists - the manifolds and tubing are designed to work together as a system.

Can I still use my Routing Kit after upgrading?

If you own the ExFog variant of the BFly Routing Kit, the connectors and clips are sized for 6mm tubing and will not work with N-Bore tubing. The Novritsch variant of the BFly Routing Kit is sized for the larger tubing diameter and is compatible. If you want to route N-Bore tubing cleanly across your headgear, the connector packs (elbows, bends, couplers) from the Novritsch variant are what you need.

Is the swap reversible?

Fully reversible. Slide the N-Bore manifolds out, slide your stock manifolds back in. No modification is made to the ExFog unit at any point.

I run goggles, not glasses. Can I use this?

Yes. The N-Bore upgrade improves airflow at the source regardless of what your tubes connect to at the other end. Goggle users route the larger N-Bore tubing into their goggle gasket the same way they would with Novritsch-spec tubing. The Novritsch goggle connector (sold separately by Novritsch) is compatible with N-Bore tubing diameter if you need a clean gasket interface.

If you run tactical glasses instead of goggles, the BFly Clearflow Adapter connects your antifog tubing to your glasses frame with directed airflow across the lens.

What does "bench tested" mean?

All airflow testing was conducted at a workbench using a controlled setup - same ExFog unit, same power, same glove inflation measurement across 20 filmed trials. "Bench tested" is accurate to the setting. We show all data including outliers and publish the conservative claim of 50% more airflow.

Connector Packs

N-Bore tubing needs connectors sized for the larger diameter. Elbows, bends, and couplers from the Novritsch Routing Kit variant route N-Bore tubing cleanly at any angle. Note: if you are running a Tubing Sheath, only connector pieces work - C-clip style clips will not fit over sheathed tube.

Color Match Your Loadout

BFly Tubing Sheath

Slide over your N-Bore tubing for a color-matched run. Ranger Green and Coyote Brown. Compatible with N-Bore tubing diameter. Important: sheathed tube will not fit C-clip style routing clips. If you plan to use a sheath, stick to elbows, bends, and couplers for your routing - not clips.
